My cervix is still just as thick as it has always been. Which is extremely frustrating because at the beginning of the pregnancy the dr was afraid I wouldn't be able to go full term because I have had a portion of my cervix removed. So for 3 months I went every two weeks to have my cervix measured. If you have never had your cervix measured with a trans vaginal ultra sound, consider yourself lucky. And if you do ever have to, think of me when they say "its just like a tampon" Ummm I don't know where they buy their tampons but I've never used one THAT BIG before. More like a dildo, not a tampon. Ugh. So my cervix is strong, strong enough to keep going. Oh and I lost another 2 pounds, meaning I have only gained 19 since being pregnant, since I have now lost 5 in the past 2 weeks. <br /><br />So next Wednesday at 730pm we are to be at the hospital where they will start me on Cervidil to ripen my cervix. We'll stay over night and Thursday morning I'll get the kick of Pitocin. If by Thursday night I have not delivered then she'll do a c-section. <br /><br />Please cross your fingers for me that Makenzie decides to make an entrance into the world on her own before then. I really don't want to force her out! We have tried EVERYTHING, except the castro oil crap! I even went flying with my husband last week cause that is supposed to put you into labor! Nothing is working!!! Walking, sex, flying, its all a bunch of myths! I am gonna hit my hubs up for some lovin when he gets home though, maybe that will help this time! :) Or not, at least we'll have fun. <br /><br />So I'll officially be a mom by next Thursday. Wow, that is crazy. <br /><br /><a href="http://pics.livejournal.com/dumpsterdiva711/pic/00005kf4/"><img height="213" alt="" width="320" border="0" src="http://pics.livejournal.com/dumpsterdiva711/pic/00005kf4/s320x240" /></a><br />And he'll be a dad.
